Idea-first
It starts with a real moment of friction — a group chat that can't decide who's bringing dessert. The idea leads; the tech follows.
فكرة noun · Arabic an idea
Fekrah is a small studio that takes a simple thing we run into every day and turns it into an app that genuinely helps — completing the Quran together to grow closer to God, gathering the people we love around one table, and planning a trip around the weather.
The idea behind the ideas
فكرة means “idea” in Arabic. We started Fekrah on a simple belief: most of the friction in daily life can be smoothed over by a thoughtful, focused app. So instead of chasing the next big thing, we build the small, genuinely useful thing — and we ship it.

Each project does one thing well. No bloat, no sign-up walls, no learning curve — just open it and get the thing done.
An idea that stays in a notebook helps no one. We move quickly from sketch to something you can actually tap and use.
Three ideas, built
Each of these started as a passing thought. Here's where they are now.
We all long for Jannah — and long for the people we love to reach it with us. Start a khatma with family and friends — in someone's memory, for a hardship to ease, or for a sick person to be healed — split the 30 juz' between everyone, complete the Quran and make duʿa together. Because nothing draws hearts closer to God than a shared khatma and prayer.
The best thing in the world is the people you love gathered around one table. Start a get-together, invite the crew, and let everyone claim a dish to bring — the app handles "who's bringing what" so you can just enjoy the company and the laughter. Because a gathering isn't about the food… it's about the people.
Planning a trip? Lay your route on the map and see traffic and weather together, mile by mile and hour by hour — so you know whether to leave early or wait out the rain, and arrive with no surprises. So the drive feels like rest, not worry.
How we work
We catch the small frustrations in everyday life and write them down as ideas.
We strip the idea down to the one job it must do, and sketch the simplest version.
We make it real — fast, focused, and pleasant to use on the very first try.
We put it in people's hands, listen, and let the idea grow from there.

We love a good idea. Tell us about yours, or follow along as we build the next one.
